Sami is a medical student studying at St. George’s University of London, who is currently undertaking an intercalated BSc in Infection and Immunity between his 3rd and 4th year.
He has a passion for teaching with previous experience in preparing students for medical school
interviews. He hopes to help any aspiring medics to achieve their goals.
Sami is originally from Brighton where he is regularly involved in charity and hospice work. He has a special interest in personal fitness, as well as football and athletics.
Sara is a final year medical student studying in University of Central Lancashire, Preston.
She is currently the Undergraduate Educational Coordinator and the Module Representative for her course which means she ensures educational needs of the students are always heard.
Her passion includes education and helping students to apply to university. Outside of medicine, she enjoys photography and listening to Audiobooks.
She is looking forward to be part of the Meducators team that share the same passion of inspiring and helping others!
George is a hard working fourth-year medical student currently studying at St George’s
University of London. He is from London and has been involved with and worked with
numerous charities such as Healthwatch and Stroke Action UK, delivering patient support
and care to the vulnerable in the community.
He has been a mentor to GCSE/A Level college students in the past. He is in love with
sciences and has tutored students in Biology, Chemistry and Maths and looks forward to
inspiring and motivating a future generation to think innovatively on how to engage more in
medical sciences.
George is an active sportsman who particularly enjoys football and basketball.
Dr Tamsin is a foundation year one doctor. She has also achieved a 1st class honours in an intercalated BSc degree in global health.
Tamsin has been heavily involved in much of university life including being a captain of the boat club and vice president for an oncology society.
She is passionate and has a lot of experience teaching children of all ages.
She’s played a key role in a project aiming to increase awareness about asthma among primary school children.
Tamsin is very excited to share her knowledge and enthusiasm with more students, and hopes to help inspire them towards an exciting future in the medical field.
Aizaz is a 4th year medical student, studying at St. George’s University of London.
He has previously assisted aspiring medical students in honing their skills, as part of a mock interview panel.
His passion for medicine has lead him to do work experience in Pakistani charity hospitals. Aizaz has also been involved in caring for the elderly with severe dementia, back in his hometown of Manchester.
In his spare time, he takes a keen interest in his fitness and enjoys playing a variety sports.
Dania is a second year medical student currently study at Brighton and Sussex Medical School. She achieved her Bachelor of Science with Honours at St George’s University, London.
Dania thoroughly enjoys working in different teams and broadening her horizons. She is currently undertaking research in cardiovascular sciences at Queen Mary’s University, London. She was a representative for AMECS, where she helped teach younger years different topics in medicine to help them prepare for exams. Dania has also helped prospective students with their interviews and applications for medicine and dentistry.
In her free time, Dania loves to bake and play sports.
With her experience and passion to help those wanting to pursue a career in healthcare, Dania will guide students to a successful university application.
Rimsha is a final year medical student studying at St Georges University of London. At the current time being, she is completing an intercalated Bachelors of Science at Kings College London in Psychology before commencing her final year. She plans to pursue a future career in either General Practice or Psychiatry after graduation.
Rimsha has a vast amount of teaching experience, having taught ages ranging from 11-22. Aside from informally teaching at the university, she has tutored numerous subjects in her spare time, including maths, english, biology and chemistry.
She has also delivered sessions previously encouraging students to apply to Medicine and guiding them through the process.
Alongside her academic interests, Rimsha enjoys travelling, reading and going to the gym.
Samiul is a Fourth Year medical student from East London, who is currently studying at St. George’s, University of London. He has also achieved 1st class honours for his intercalated BSc in 2018.
Samiul’s research has primarily been focused on the role of the microcirculation in Cardiovascular Disease and he is currently working with the Blood Pressure Unit at St. George’s.
In his free time, Samiul plays the violin and piano, and he often plays at charity events, weddings and musical productions across the UK.
Samiul has had previous experience in teaching students from a variety of backgrounds and hopes to continue delivering his services as part of Meducators UK
Safa is a third-year medical student currently studying at St Georges University of London.
She has aspired a medical career since a very young age and enjoys inspiring and helping others to be able to follow a similar career path.
Safa has substantial experience of teaching and working with children through tutoring as well as volunteering in a school. She has also had the opportunity to work with children
who suffer from learning disabilities or illnesses which may have impacted their education.
Throughout Safa’s career she has had experience of working in a variety of health care environments such as within hospital, GP, or care home therefore she is able to provide excellent advice on questions which students may have.
Rolla is a foundation year one doctor. In 2018, she completed her intercalated BSc (Hons) in Management at Imperial College London.
Rolla has a keen interest in teaching with experience as an anatomy demonstrator at St. George's University for 3 years. She is also currently involved with BIMA, who teach basic life support within the local community.
As well as teaching, Rolla enjoys spending her time creating art and keeping fit. She is passionate about what she does and enthusiastic about giving younger students insight into a career in medicine.
Mo is a fourth year medical student at St George’s University of London. Mo also has a 1st class honours degree in Basic Medical Sciences which included studying modules on Cardiovascular and Respiratory Science, Clinically Applied Musculoskeletal Anatomy and Global Health Diseases.
Mohammed has a massive passion for teaching and has consistently helped students with a wide range of studies alongside his own. He has amassed a variety of skills from his teaching experiences which he looks forward to applying when helping prospective medical students.
Mohammed also engages in university life and has been an ever present member in the football team which culminated in him becoming the captain of the first team. It is important for students to engage with other activities alongside medicine and Mohammed has the experience and advice on how to balance extra curricular activities whilst still achieving academic goals.
Nikhil is a fourth year medical student at St George's University of London. Nikhil also has a degree in Basic Medical Sciences which included studying modules in Cardiovascular and Respiratory Science, Behavioural Medicine and Global Health disease.
Nikhil is a keen teacher who has aimed to help his peers achieve the high standards he sets for himself. He understands the need for cooperation and teamwork and look forward to teaching prospective medical students using these same principles.
Nikhil also takes part in other extra curricular activities and societies. Nikhil helped to create the first ever Indian Society at St George's working to put on many successful events.
It is important for prospective student to understand the need for balance and Nikhil has demonstrated a method to achieve balance successfully.
Sreya is a final year medical student currently intercalating for her Bachelor of Sciences at King's College London. She studies Medicine at Keele University.
Sreya is passionate about medical education and consistently organises teaching for her fellow peers. In 2019, she led an OCSE revision circuit for 4th Year medical students via the Keele Obstetrics and Gynaecology society.
Sreya is a member of Education for Choice, where she teaches school students about abortion and contraceptive care.
Sreya is also an avid dancer and understands the importance of having a work-life balance.
Shreya is a fourth year medical student currently intercalating at Imperial College London.
Shreya is passionate about getting involved in medical teaching, having spent time teaching medical students and visiting local schools to motivate others to study medicine. She has spent time teaching school students about mental health and enjoys teaching.
Shreya has a lot of experience in leading groups of people. She was a medical student representative in her first year and is looking forward to seeing the society grow. In her spare time Shreya enjoys playing hockey, badminton and dancing.
Luqman is currently doing an intercalated BSc degree in Neuroscience at St George’s University of London, having completed his first three years of medical school.
Luqman has experience teaching young children basic Science and Mathematics which he finds very rewarding. He loves making a difference by helping prospective and current medical students to further their career.
As well as his passion for teaching, Luqman is an avid football and tennis player and also goes to the gym.
Prav is a 3rd-year medical student studying at St Georges, University of London.
His interests include education and tutoring students in science. He is also very passionate about helping students apply to healthcare courses. Outside of medicine, he enjoys sports as well as attending the gym.
He enjoys the camaraderie that comes with being apart of the Meducators UK team and is excited to share his enthusiasm for the healthcare sciences.
Shams is a 4th year medical student at St George’s, University of London.
She has particular interest in medical education and has been an anatomy demonstrator for 3 years. She has also organised many successful events at university, and has co-lead the Charity Week Committee In 2016.
Shams likes to bake, play tennis and the piano in her spare time, as well spend time with her family and friends, especially if it involves cake and ice cream.
Shams is very bubbly and supportive character, who always encourages whomever she may meet to achieve their goals.
Dr. Shah obtained her primary Dental qualification from The University of Birmingham. She has also achieved postgraduate qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons of London and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Her career has included working as a Civilian Dentist for the British Army in Germany and as a Senior Dental Officer in the Falkland Islands. In between working abroad, she has worked in dental practices across the country both in the NHS and Private sector. She is keen to use her clinical skills to help others and she regularly offers her dental skills for CRISIS, the national charity for the homeless.
Dr Shah also qualified as a Medical doctor from Barts Medical School in 2015 and completed her Junior Doctor training in August 2016 in St Helier Hospital in 2016. She worked as a Specialty Doctor in the prestigious Behçet's Centre of Excellence where she was able to use her dental and medical skills to care for patients which she found very rewarding.
Dr Shah is passionate about mentoring and teaching students and helping them achieve their dreams of getting into Dental or Medical School. She is also very keen on maintaining high standards of clinical care & teaching and works as a PLAB examiner for the GMC. She has been an OSCE examiner for Medical and Dental Finals exams.
She has a keen interest in Medical Law & Ethics and is shortly due to start a Masters in Medical Law. Dr Shah has recently joined the team at Meducators UK. She is an excellent & enthusiastic teacher and feels privileged to be able to help others achieve their goals in gaining a place at Dental or Medical School.
